C U R R I C U L U M

Our curriculum, "Building Steps To The Future," focuses on the concept that children learn best through play.  It is important for  children to have opportunities to construct their own knowledge though exploration, interaction with materials, and imitation of role models.  At Kids 'R' Kids, age-appropriate classrooms are arranged into learning centers to enhance a child's play in art, blocks, books, dramatic play, math/manipulative, and science.  A learning center is an area in a classroom where one or more children can participate in experiences designed for enrichment and review of current learning, as well as reinforcement of skills being taught.  Within these learning centers children select many of their own experiences from a variety the teacher prepares.
